Frequently Asked Questions

Rather than taking place at a center or single facility, Palm Beach Autism Club is community-based. We will have a consistent location where we will meet at 9:30am and be back by 2:30pm each day, but beyond that all of our daily activities will take place around the community. Examples of activities may include attending therapeutic equine programs, visiting local museums, shopping for groceries, volunteering at beach cleanups, and participating in recreational sports and activities. 

Adults with autism are welcome to apply for this program. Through our admissions process, we will work hard to identify and select candidates who we believe will most benefit from the program. Please call Palm Beach Autism Club at 561-377-2099 to discuss enrollment and the application process.

Transportation is provided to and from all activities during club hours. However, it is the responsibility of the club member to acquire transportation to the club. 

We accept private pay and CDC+.

Payments are due every two weeks.

Yes. We will be participating in events in the community and club members are expected to pay for their own admission, entry fee, etc. Examples of this may include visiting a local marine life center, attending fairs or festivals, eating at a restaurant, and participating in community recreational activities. 

We will begin and end at the same place each day, in Palm Beach Gardens. Location will be shared closer to the start date. 

A fully equipped , modern (certified) 12 passenger van

Lunch itself is part of the program, whether it is learning skills to shop for and prepare a healthy, tasty meal, or practicing dining out in a public setting. We will notify club members and parents/guardians of when we will go out to eat, so members will be sure to have money with them.

Since we will be moving around the community, we ask that all club members are present from 9:30am-2:30pm. Thus, not allowing for partial days. 

No, we are unable to offer an extended day at this point.
